Position Summary:
CMP Professional Land Surveyors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PLS, LSIT, or CAD Technician to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in the successful delivery of surveying projects through the coordination of field operations, data processing, and preparation of accurate survey deliverables.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, project management capabilities, and experience with industry-standard software, with preference given to those familiar with Carlson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee survey field crews and daily operations
  • Coordinate and execute construction staking activities
  • Process and analyze raw survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and related documentation
  • Support a diverse range of projects, including boundary and topographic surveys, easement mapping, and subdivision platting
  • Ensure all work meets applicable standards, regulations, and client expectations

Qualifications:

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT), or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Carlson software strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and field procedures
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
