GME is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician/Drafter to join our in-office team in Greensboro. This position is responsible for producing accurate survey drawings and plats from field data, working closely with licensed surveyors and field crew. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare boundary survey plats, topographic drawings, and other survey documents from field notes and data
  • Draft ALTA/NSPS and subdivision plats in compliance with NC G.S. 47-30 and applicable standards
  • Process field data files and import points into CAD software
  • Coordinate with field crews and project surveyors to ensure drawing accuracy
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to GME CAD standards
  • Assist with deed research, legal description review, and traverse computation as needed
