Young Surveyors Network

Welcome to the NC Young Surveyors Network
(NC-YSN)!

We’re excited to have you here! The NC-YSN is a community for new licensees, young land surveying professionals, and students under the age of 40 who are passionate about the field of surveying. Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to connect with others in the industry, this is the place for you.
If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to join as an NCSS member—it’s a great way to connect with fellow surveyors and stay updated on events.
Get involved, explore the resources below, and be part of the future of land surveying in North Carolina. We look forward to seeing you at our events and online discussions!

YSN Tech Day

The NC Young Surveyors Network recently hosted a hands-on Technology Day in Gastonia at Rankin Lake Park on March 20th, sponsored by Duncan-Parnell, and the event was a great success. This outdoor, rotating-station format provided attendees with the opportunity to see the latest surveying and geospatial technology in action, ask questions, and learn practical applications directly from industry experts. Open to professionals of all experience levels, the event welcomed a strong and diverse group of participants.

If you were not able to attend, be sure to keep an eye out for the next Technology Day—there will be more opportunities ahead to connect, learn, and experience new tools in the field.

Help Shape the Future of the Young Surveyors Network. We encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the survey below. Your input plays an important role in guiding YSN programs, events, and engagement opportunities for early-career surveying professionals.
