This training will be conducted virtually over three days, with four hours of instruction each day from 8am - 12pm. A camera is required to attend.

What’s In This Workshop?
- By attending this workshop, you should have enough information to successfully use OPUS-Projects for your own projects. Once the training is completed, you’ll be given an opportunity to register your email address, thereby authorizing you to create and process new OPUS-Projects.
- A project containing a training data set will be assigned to you. You’ll have an opportunity to work along with the presentations. In addition, time is allotted for you to explore your project individually.
Instructor: Charles Geoghegan
Charles Geoghegan spent the first decade of his career with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on a National Geodetic Survey triangulation field party. In the mid-80s, after NGS completed its transition from triangulation to GPS field work, Charlie spent the next two decades employed with the South Carolina Geodetic Survey. During this period, he earned a degree in Civil Engineering Technology and was licensed as a surveyor in South Carolina. He returned to NGS in 2006 as a geodesist/trainer at the NGS Testing and Training Center near Corbin, VA. In 2023, he was promoted to his current position as the Geodetic Advisor for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
