It’s time to volunteer for NCSS Committees!

Committees make successful organizations. Effective committees unify, represent, motivate, coordinate, consolidate, and communicate.

A committee can be one of the most productive tools
that an organization has in it’s structure

They function best when the committee has appropriately selected members, a clearly defined mission/objective/work plan, strong leadership in the chair and competent staffing support.
A major benefit of committees is that they assure group participation in problem solving, and serve as a forum to represent the many interests within the organization.

Committees gather information, study issues, reach a consensus, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors responsible for making final decisions. Active committee involvement is what makes NCSS such a successful organization.
